We are pleased to welcome Josh who has recently joined our team of volunteers whilst working towards achieving his Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. Josh will be helping with tasks including stock control, administrative work, packing the pouches ready for distribution and final delivery of packs to the hospital wards.​​​
We are delighted to make regular deliveries to the Children's Ward at Epsom General Hospital in order to ensure those parents who are staying with their children have some provision for personal care which is one less thing to worry about at an otherwise anxious time. We are considering extending provision of specific packs with the children themselves in mind and if you have any thoughts, or abilities to assist, please do get in touch as we would love to hear from you. ​

We were able to celebrate with our supporters
the five year anniversary since Swishes began and as well as having a fun and informal afternoon, we also raised funds to help us continue with our aims to help people at a time of anxiety and need by providing free packs of emergency toiletries to patients and carers who find themselves unexpectedly in hospital.
​
During our first five years, we have been able to improve the initial pack contents to now reflect greener choices and better quality products, buying in larger quantities and at more competitive cost than when we first began. We will continue to review and improve our packs and contents wherever possible and which relies on continued funding to ensure the hospital wards, clinics and day centres can receive constant supplies as required.
